Fisher house model- 1:50 scale
Above: the model is cut so that it opens in two sections.
Interior detailing: on the right shows the detachable chimney.
Looking in
the overall design was to be simple and clean.
Materials: 5 different balsa wood thicknesses were used to reflect different
structural aspects of the house that appeared in the plan.
Aim: My aim was to create a precise/clean, minimalistic model of
the fisher house.
Changes in material on the exterior of the Fisher house is
shown through the change in balsa orientation.
